2 Minutes to Win It – Winners Are In!

The N.C. Entrepreneurship Center (NCEC) at UNCG recently hosted its annual “2 Minutes to Win It” business idea contest, and this year they have opened the competition to all Greensboro students. UNCG, NCAT, Greensboro College, Guilford College, Bennett College, Elon University, and Guilford Tech students, 18 and older, may participate and win prizes including $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, $250 for third place, and $250 for best presentation.

Twenty finalists competed for prizes with top prize going to Glenn Zimmerman, an entrepreneurship major at UNCG, for presenting the Autostration.com, a website for college students to register for classes.

Business plan class helped by showing me the things that are essential to having a strong business plan and what things are important to look for when investing or evaluating a business.
