The Bryan School of Business and Economics is proud to announce the recipient of the 2013 Distinguished Alumni Award, William Bradley ‘Brad’ Hayes, Accounting 1987.
Brad has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) since 2005. A S&P 500 company based in Burlington, NC, LabCorp is a world leader in clinical testing and diagnostic technologies. During Brad’s tenure, both company revenues and earnings per share increased markedly.
In addition to his responsibilities at LabCorp, Brad finds time to serve his community. He has lent his expertise to numerous non-profit boards, including the UNCG Excellence Foundation and the Bryan School Business Advisory Board. Brad also serves on the Board of Trustees and the Finance Committee at Canterbury School. In recognition of his work with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, he was recognized in 2012 with the “Beverly Berry Living and Giving Award” for his efforts to raise funds to find a cure for diabetes.
Brad and his wife, Kim, Marketing Education 1989, have endowed a scholarship to support high-potential students with financial need.
The Bryan School and UNCG will celebrate this award along with Brad and guests on Monday, May 13th at Starmount Forest Country Club.
