Job description – Summer Internship
Bio-Adhesive Alliance (BAA), Inc. a start-up company located in Greensboro, NC is looking for an intern that can help the company achieve its investment and financial goals. While the intern would be able to work on a variety of activities related to BAA operations and management, his/her main job would be the development of a financial model for BAA to raise capital and engage with the investment community in the NC and across the US.
The candidate for this job would be able to work with limited supervision. He/she would be able to understand complex business decisions from both operational and strategic aspects. In addition, he/she would demonstrate excellent communication skills. He/she is familiar with data analytics and would be able to analyze and interpret data using any commercially available software (e.g. Excel, Access, SPSS, SAS, Minitab, R).
Detailed job description:
- Financial modeling (Develop a comprehensive operational model)
- Budgeting (Create detailed operating budget and capital needs for next 12-24 months and an operating budget for the first pilot plant)
- Build capital structure (Develop capital structure, including modeling scenarios for future capital needs),
- Discuss BAA capital needs with angel investors, Venture Capitalists, Strategic Investors and Banks.
Upon satisfactory performance during the internship, the individual would have the opportunity to join the management team of BAA.
