Two students from the Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies Department were featured in UNCG’s Find Your Way Here series this past month to share their stories about what it’s like being a student at UNCG.
Ana Mena Pacheco, from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, is a Junior in the CARS Department with a concentration in Apparel Design. In her interview, Ana talks about how “Mindset is Everything” when it comes to making the most of your time at UNCG. “I didn’t think I could make a whole collection for the fashion show. And I made four pieces, and they looked beautiful, and they were better than the expectations I had for what I imagined my senior collection to be.” Hear Ana talk about her experience here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=dEj2zbqXvd8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Henrietta Raven Dial Stanley is a Junior Apparel Design student in the CARS Department and a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina.
