The University of North Carolina Board of Governors has selected Dr. Dianne H.B. Welsh (Bryan School) to receive a 2019 Award for Excellence in Teaching. She will be recognized at the April 17 Faculty Awards ceremony at UNCG, and she will receive the award during the May Commencement ceremony. She is one of 17 award recipients, who represent all 16 of North Carolina’s public universities as well as the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. (read more)
