The Bryan School of Business and Economics awards a limited number of scholarships each year. The majority of our scholarships are need-based, meaning you must have a completed FAFSA on file in which financial need is indicated. Please review information on filing a FAFSA, including priority deadlines, through the UNCG Financial Aid Office website. Your FAFSA must be received by the federal processor by December 1 for the upcoming academic year in order for it to be a priority application.
Students will receive a scholarship application via email after they are officially admitted to a Bryan School program.
The Spartan Scholarship System (S3) is now closed and no longer accepting new or updated applications for the 2020/2021 academic year. Students who are selected for university scholarships will be notified by the Financial Aid Office by May 15, 2020. Students who are selected for Bryan School scholarships will be notified up until July 31, 2020.
Our Bryan School scholarship award process is very competitive. Please be aware that you must fill out both the General Application and the Conditional Application in the Spartan Scholarship System as thoroughly as possible. Some awards may or may not be renewable each year. You are required to fill out both a new General and Conditional application each year, regardless if you are currently receiving a Bryan School scholarship. All students will be notified by the Financial Aid Office via email when the Spartan Scholarship System will be open for application submission for each upcoming academic year.
*Bryan School scholarship recipients will be notified prior to the fall semester only if you have been selected for an award. If you receive a Bryan School scholarship, you are required to attend a Scholars and Donors Luncheon in the fall semester.
In order to apply for a Bryan School scholarship, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

- Prove financial need (for most scholarships)
- Be registered as a Bryan School student
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress per UNCG’s Financial Aid Office SAP policy
