Background
Hunter An is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance and is the Kathleen Price Bryan Dean’s Notable Scholar in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG. Dr. An received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Alabama. He joined the faculty at UNCG in 2013.
Dr. An’s research areas include corporate finance and real estate finance. He has published in multiple journals, including Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Accounting Studies, and Real Estate Economics.
Dr. An teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance. His service to the Bryan School and University has included membership on the Finance Curriculum Committee and the Committee on Research. He is the workshop coordinator for the Department of Accounting and Finance.
