Background

Dr. Aprille Noe Black is an Instructional Technology Specialist/Lecturer for the Bryan School of Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Teaching Philosophy
CV

Aprille earned her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in Instructional Design and Technology. She has been teaching online for almost 10 years. Before joining the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG, Aprille worked as an Instructor for the Center for Instructional Technology Solutions for Industry and Education at Virginia Tech. Prior to completing her Ph.D., Aprille served as a School Library Media Specialist. She has a robust and diverse background in education and enjoys all aspects of teaching. Her current research interest is focused on the design and delivery of collaborative, online instruction, and is also interested in conducting research on the use of digital tools in online and face-to-face classes.
