Amanda Cromartie is an Accounting Lecturer and the MSA Program Director in the Department of Accounting and Finance in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG. Since receiving her Master’s in Accounting at UNCG in 2003, Ms. Cromartie’s professional background has included work in the corporate setting as an audit associate and manager, financial planning consultant, as well as corporate controller. Ms. Cromartie is a licensed CPA in North Carolina.
As the current Director for the Master of Science in Accounting program (MSA), Ms. Cromartie is fully engaged in the development and growth of the MSA program, including student recruitment and advising, implementing program standards and enhancements, and development of an online program option. Her course instruction includes undergraduate courses in financial and managerial accounting as well as courses in CPA exam preparation. Ms. Cromartie also serves as the ACF Internship Coordinator and works closely with local and regional firms to provide opportunities for students to meet industry leaders and gain practical experience in their intended field prior to graduation.
