Research Areas: Economics of Education, Post-secondary Education, Program Evaluation, Labor Economics, and Personnel Economics
Dr. Dora Gicheva joined The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) faculty as an assistant professor in 2010 after completing her Ph.D. in Economics at Yale University. She works in the areas of labor and education economics. Her research interests include topics in education financing, access to and success in college for disadvantaged students, teacher labor markets, mentoring, intrinsic motivation, and labor supply.
