Ms. Karen Lynden
Department of Management
Karen Lynden is a Lecturer in the Department of Management at the Bryan School of Business and Economics. She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Management from Pfeiffer University, and currently engaged in doctoral studies. Her teaching philosophy is centered on experiential and project-based learning, teaching international business and management courses at the undergraduate level. She directs the short-term travel abroad course, MGT-303 Experience Business Abroad Belgium, offered annually during the spring semester. As an active member of the X-Culture non-profit leadership team, Karen Directs the Coaching Program, a global professional development initiative, and also serves as the coordinator for the Advisory Board. As a member of the Academy of International Business, Karen contributes to the Teaching and Education Shared Interest Group as Co-Vice Chair, Events. She is a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Cross Cultural & Strategic Management Journal and member of the Editorial and Review Board for the European Journal of International Management. Karen’s primary research interests include: global virtual teams; cross-cultural team and management topics; and organizational training and development.
