Faculty and Staff

Josh Moore is a Lecturer of Accounting in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG. He received his B.S. in Applied Economics from East Carolina University in 2004 and his M.S. in Accounting from UNCG in 2006. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a member of the Institute of Management and Accountants. Mr. Moore began his teaching career at Guilford Technical Community College and advanced to the position of Associate Professor in 2012 before joining the UNCG faculty full-time in 2017. Prior to starting his career in academia, Mr. Moore was employed in the field of accounting at Amarr Garage Doors where he worked as an Inventory Cost Analyst, Senior Accountant, and lastly as an Inventory Cost Manager. He continues to serve the company as a Sales Tax Accountant.

As a faculty member in the Department of Accounting and Finance at UNCG, Mr. Moore teaches classes in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Managerial Accounting. He also serves as the faculty advisor for the UNCG chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, an honor organization for accounting students.
