Professional Experience:

Mr. Parkes is a Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management (ISSCM) in the Joseph M. Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).  He is also an Adjunct Instructor for Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton Wisconsin.

Mr. Parkes has over 30 years Corporate Experience in the Specialty Chemical Industry.  This experience cuts across functional areas in different business segments – pharmaceuticals, textiles, paper and consumer products.  This experience includes:

Mr. Parkes has been actively involved and served in different leadership roles for the Piedmont NC Chapter of ASCM.  He has served as past Vice President Education and past President of the Piedmont NC Chapter of ASCM.
