Problem Solved – William Birdwell

Posted on November 09, 2015

In our “Problem Solved” series, the Bryan School is proud to highlight students and alumni who are exceptional problem solvers for their organizations and communities.

My company was struggling to create sustainable, strategic change initiatives.

PROBLEM SOLVED

I developed a team culture that reduces wasteful business activities and creates more value for everyone, employees and stakeholders alike.

I went back to school mid-career, and the payoff has been tremendous. A UNCG MBA has helped me see things that others don’t. I know how to think strategically now and I have the confidence to provide input to top executives. As a result, my company created a leadership role for me in problem solving. Every day, I look for creative, sustainable ways to ensure quality and continuous improvement.

I’m William — hired, promoted and valued because I am a problem solver.
