About Our Program
Marketing majors learn and apply skills that are critical to success in the marketplace. With on-campus and online program options available, you will learn material via coursework and apply that knowledge directly to hands-on experiences with client firms.
You will have the opportunity to engage in customer segmentation studies, develop a strategic marketing plan, design advertising or promotional plans for firms, and even close some sales if your plans are successful.
Internships are offered in marketing and sales. Students typically secure their own internships. They earn course credit while learning real-world skills, including B2B selling, online marketing, and brand development. Students have completed semester-long internships at Gartner, Charles Aris, Fastenal, SFW, VF Corporation, and Volvo Trucks North America.
