Supply Chain Club
The Supply Chain Club is affiliated with the Piedmont Triad Chapter of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), but we also work closely with the Institute of Supply Management (ISM). APICS is a premier professional association for supply chain and operations management. It is the largest global organization dedicated to advancing the practice of procurement and supply management.
Our chapter’s mission as a club is to build opportunities within the supply chain field for UNCG students through our affiliation with APICS.
Each year, the club collaborates with the Institute of Supply Management to host a panel of supply chain professionals. Students also have the opportunity to compete in ISM’s case competition and APICS’s student paper competition. There are also a variety of workshops available to help supply chain students earn an SCM certification, such as BSCM.
