Suit Up 2019

Suit Up 2019: Professional dress event for Bryan students

It’s time to suit up!

The Bryan School has partnered with JCPenney to co-host the 3rd annual Suit Up, an event designed to provide free and discounted suits to our students. JCPenney in Four Seasons Town Centre will open its doors after hours exclusively for Bryan School students so that you can shop for deeply-discounted professional wear. (Most items will be around 70% off!)

Why should you attend?

As you transition from college to the real world, you will need business professional attire. Whether you need a suit for an interview, a career fair, an internship, or your first day on the job, this is a great opportunity to get a free or discounted suit that makes you feel confident.

Volunteers trained in professional dress education will be there to assist you in purchasing a suit that will make you stand out as a young professional. Think of our volunteers as your own personal shoppers!

Sponsorships

The Bryan School of Business and Economics is excited to offer a limited number of sponsorships to full-time business students to receive a complete professional outfit for FREE.

To apply, please fill out THIS APPLICATION by January 23, 2019.

Applicants will be notified of decisions on January 28, 2019. Sponsorship recipients must attend the Suit Up event on February 10, 2019 between 6:30 pm ET and 9:30 pm ET. Sponsorships will come in the form of a JCPenney gift card, which is only eligible for use at the Suit Up event. Applicants with financial need will be prioritized.

Transportation

Though students are encouraged to drive themselves or carpool to Suit Up, Spartan Chariot will also provide transportation to and from JCPenney. The shuttle will pick up students outside of the Bryan School at the corner of Stirling St. and Theta St. Each shuttle can only transport 25-30 students, so seats will be limited. The shuttle is handicap accessible.

The first shuttle will leave the Bryan School at 6:15 pm or when the shuttle is full, whichever occurs first. Each round-trip to and from JCPenney will take approximately 25-30 minutes. The final shuttle will depart from JCPenney to the Bryan School at approximately 9:30 pm. Students who are not on the final shuttle will be responsible for their own return transportation (e.g. taxi, carpool).
