Please join us in welcoming Dr. Hauen “Grace” Bang to the Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies Department! Dr. Bang joined the CARS Department as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She recently completed of her PhD from The University of Minnesota in June. Dr. Bang will be teaching Portfolio Development for Apparel Design and Studio IV: Creative and Technical Design this semester as her background is in Apparel Design and her teaching interests involve Pattern Making and Draping, Fashion Illustration, and Aesthetics in Dress. Her research interests focus on sustainable apparel consumption.
