The Bryan School is one of the largest business schools in North Carolina, offering 22 undergraduate, six master’s, 19 graduate certificates, and four PhD programs. The School holds dual accreditation in business and accounting from the AACSB – a distinction held by only 1% of business schools in the world.

Mission Statement

In the Bryan School of Business & Economics, we are committed to educational accessibility and social mobility. We create and disseminate knowledge about the theory and practice of business in an environment that values and promotes a diverse and inclusive community fostering belonging and equal opportunity for all. In addition to our courses and research, we accomplish this through hands-on projects, global experiences, and outreach to the community. Our work produces principled leaders and exceptional problem solvers who have a global perspective, an innovative mindset, a broad understanding of sustainability, and a commitment to improve the organizations in which they work and the communities in which they live.

about the dean

Prior to returning to the UNC Greensboro Bryan School of Business and Economics to serve as a Professor of Supply Chain Management and eventually Dean, Joy Bhadury, Phd, served as Dean at Radford University’s Davis College of Business and Economics and Dean of the School of Business and Management at SUNY-Brockport. Alongside his previous role at the Bryan School as Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Programs, his academic leadership experience also includes Chair of Management and Finance at California State University–East Bay.

Dr. Bhadury specializes in Business Analytics, Management Science, and Supply Chain Management. He has taught in the U.S. as well as internationally, and his research has been published in a number of esteemed journals. Dr. Bhadury has also provided consultancy to various organizations and received funding from prominent entities like GlaxoSmithKline Foundation and the U.S. Department of Labor.
