JOSEPH M. BRYAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS
Dr. Joy Bhadury
Prior to returning to the UNC Greensboro Bryan School of Business and Economics to serve as a Professor of Supply Chain Management and eventually Dean, Joy Bhadury, Phd, served as Dean at Radford University’s Davis College of Business and Economics and Dean of the School of Business and Management at SUNY-Brockport. Alongside his previous role at the Bryan School as Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Programs, his academic leadership experience also includes Chair of Management and Finance at California State University–East Bay.
Dr. Bhadury specializes in Business Analytics, Management Science, and Supply Chain Management. He has taught in the U.S. as well as internationally, and his research has been published in a number of esteemed journals. Dr. Bhadury has also provided consultancy to various organizations and received funding from prominent entities like GlaxoSmithKline Foundation and the U.S. Department of Labor.
Dr. William “Bill” Brown
Dr. Brown is a Professor of Finance and Associate Dean for Internal Affairs. He previously served as the Head of the Accounting and Finance Department. He received his BA and PhD from Clemson University. Dr. Brown has published articles in professional journals including The American Economic Review, The Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
Mr. Jaap-Jan van Duin
Mr. van Duin joined the Bryan School of Business and Economics as Assistant Dean of External Affairs in July 2020. He previously served as Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development at UNCG Online. Along with his time in higher education, Van Duin brings with him nearly 20 years of business experience with Nike, having served in two different regional director positions for Nike Europe as well as General Manager for Nike Netherlands.
MS. Beth Todd
Since joining the Bryan School Dean’s Office in 2015, Ms. Todd has held roles of progressive responsibility including Executive Assistant to the Dean, Business Manager, and Assistant Dean of Budget and Operations. Prior to these appointments, Todd’s UNCG experience also included business operations in one of the Bryan School’s six academic departments, Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies.
