The Star Jobs Report from the NC Department of Commerce is a new and simplified way to help identify promising occupations. Fast Track Your Graduate Degree: Save Time, Money, and Avoid Taking the GRE/GMAT

Session Description:

Pursuing a graduate degree can be a major life decision. It can involve preparing for the GRE/GMAT and completing one or two years of graduate coursework — not to mention the significant financial investment. In this session, you’ll learn about opportunities available exclusively to Bryan undergraduate students that can save them time, money, and waive the GRE/GMAT test requirement for a graduate degree program. You’ll also hear from and have the opportunity to hear from current students who have taken advantage of these benefits and have the opportunity to ask them questions.

Nailing Your Personal Brand

Session Description:

This interview session will feature two alumni who have nailed their professional brand in successful nonprofit organizations, their own businesses, and Fortune 500 companies. Learn how to set up your LinkedIn profile, network like a boss, and tell your story as a part of your career path.

Between the Lines: What Employers are Really Saying in the Job Ad

Session Description:

Does this scenario sound familiar? You see a job ad you are excited by. You read it carefully, looking for key requirements. You get discouraged because you don’t see a direct match with your resume. You don’t apply.

Join this session to break out of that cycle and understand what employers are really saying in their job ads. You’ll walk away with actionable steps to decipher job ads and then translate the requirements into your resume and cover letter.

Student Organizations Round Up

Session Description:

Are you excited to get involved with one of the many Bryan School student organizations, but you are not sure which one is the right fit for you? Come learn more about these organizations and their activities from a panel of student presidents and alumni who are eager to welcome you aboard!

  • Login to the live Zoom session on time and stay till the end*
  • Register for the party ahead of time and attend from 5 – 7 pm Aug. 26
  • Check in to Bryan Gold during the sessions and party

By attending a session AND the party you can earn up to two entries into the raffle. The raffle drawing will occur on Monday, Aug. 30. We will be drawing for two Apple Airpods and two Beats headphones. Winners will be notified via email where to pick up their prize.

*You will be emailed a certificate of attendance for every conference session you attend. If your instructor is offering credit, show them your certificate.
