What should you be doing now to prepare for the future? Find the answers at the Bryan School’s fourth annual Back to Business event! During the day, attend sessions with tips and strategies that will help you succeed in both jobs and internships. In the evening, take part in the Back to Business Mixer! Enjoy free food and mocktails and participate in speed-networking sessions with alumni, employers, and faculty. We’ll also have a raffle for great prizes, and we’ll be giving away a special 50th anniversary t-shirt (while supplies last)!

The Golden Ticket

Your Key to becoming a VIP!
  1. Check in with student ID between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to get a Golden Ticket.
  2. Have your ticket stamped at the end of every speaker session you attend..
  3. Collect at least two stamps, and you’ll become a VIP at our evening Mixer.
VIP Access includes:
  1. Early access to the mixer! Doors open at 4:30 pm for VIPs, while general admission begins at 5:00 pm.
  2. Take part in a special VIP speed networking round at 5:00 pm.
  3. Receive a bonus entry into the raffle with this ticket stub.
  4. Skip the lines for the food and free t-shirts.

*In the event that your instructor has offered extra credit for Back to Business attendance, use your Golden Ticket for verification.

The Blue Ticket

Collect your Blue Ticket at check-in for the Mixer:
  1. All students must check-in with their student ID at the Mixer at 5:00 pm, unless they are VIPs (see above)
  2. Students will receive a blue ticket when they check-in for the evening mixer. If you have your ticket stamped by at least four of the six speed networking sessions, you can submit your ticket stub to be entered into the prize raffle.

The Mixer | 5:00-7:00 pm (VIP entry at 4:30 pm)

After the Back to Business speaker sessions, we are hosting a speed networking mixer in the Cone Ballroom! Speakers from the daytime sessions and other experts will be ready to meet you. You will have about 10 minutes at each speed networking station, so come prepared with questions. We will have some conversational prompts for you as well. Business attire is encouraged. – Remember, you could be meeting a future employer!

The event will also include heavy hor d’oeuvres, mocktail mixed drinks, and a special 50th anniversary Bryan School t-shirt (while supplies last).

Raffle Details

Use your Golden Ticket and Blue Ticket to enter the raffle for great prizes! Simply collect two stamps on your Golden Ticket and four stamps on your blue ticket (details will be printed on the tickets). The drawings will occur at the Mixer, but you do not need to be present to win. Make sure you double your chances to win because the raffle items this year include: Apple Airpods, Beats Wireless Headphones and 50″ TCL 4K HDR Roku TV!
