- Victoria Brown, An Exploration of Dress and Identity among New Mothers: The Implications of Breastfeeding for Clothing Choice, Social Psychological Track (with Dr. Nancy Hodges)
- Lina Ceballos, Possessions and the Transition from Working to Retired Self, Consumer Behavior Track (with Dr. Nancy Hodges)
- Tara Konya was awarded the Marjorie Joseph Fellowship for Beginning Doctoral Students.
- Michelle Childs, recent CARS PhD graduate (now an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee) was awarded second place Doctoral Student Best Paper award (advisor: Dr. Byoungho Jin).
