CARS Represents UNCG at ITAA’s 2018 Annual Conference

Four CARS students and six faculty members represented UNCG at ITAA’s 2018 Annual Conference from November 6^th – 9^th in Cleveland, Ohio.  The International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA) is a professional and educational association whose members are composed of scholars, educators and students in the textile, apparel, and merchandising disciplines in higher education.  Students and faculty presented research papers and showed their creative designs during the conference.  Department Head, Dr. Nancy Hodges, was honored as the 2018 ITAA Distinguished Scholar for her excellence in research and the many accomplishments she has made for the CARS Program at UNCG.  She gave the Keynote Speech titled: Research as a Magnificent Obsession: Encouraging Textile and Apparel Scholarship within a Culture of Mentoring.”
