CARS Students Win Big

Three CARS students took home awards at the 16th annual Carolyn and Norwood Thomas Undergraduate Research and Creativity Expo on April 22, 2022.

The Thomas Undergraduate Research and Creativity Expo participants uploaded video presentations to the URSCO Virtual Expo site for perusal by visitors and judges, as part of a week-long event. Three Consumer, Apparel, & Retail Studies Students placed in two of the six categories. In the Business, Education, Social and Behavioral Sciences category, RCS student Kerry Cope placed second. In the Visual Arts Exhibition APD students Mary Nease placed first and Kasey Condon placed third.

Project Title: Adaptive Clothing: Making Fashion Forward Clothes More Accessible to the Physically Disabled

Winners will be recognized at the 60th Annual Student Honors Convocation on April 28. Congratulations to Kerry, Mary, and Kasey, as well as their faculty mentors Dr. Su and Dr. Bang! Very well done!
