Apparel Design Concentration

On Campus Only

UNC Greensboro’s Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies (CARS) program prepares students for the broad scope of the industry and produces graduates who understand designing, manufacturing, marketing, and apparel-related products. Students who aim to design clothing for a living may consider concentrating on Apparel Design, which will teach them how to combine creativity with business savvy and evolve their design work over the course of a career. Our students have a high rate of placement in the field — many even before graduation.
