They say success is largely about the people you know. At CARS, we believe it’s about who knows you and how well we prepare you to succeed in their organizations.
The Consumer, Apparel and Retail Studies Industry Advisory Board is an important part of our engagement with industry leaders. The board is comprised of 15 members who occupy senior operating positions at a wide range of consumer, apparel and retail related companies. Companies represented by board members include VF Corporation, Kontoor Brands, Renfro Corporation, Macy’s, PVH, Gap Inc., Ralph Lauren, Gildan, and Cotton Incorporated. The primary function of the board is to advise the department on industry-related issues and trends for the purposes of maintaining program currency and to support the professional development of CARS students.
