This bibliometric analysis of blockchain research in logistics and supply chain management just came in from a highly reputable management journal, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/9138446). Nir Kshetri ranks No. 1 among the top contributing authors. UNCG ranks No. 2 in the list of top contributing institutions (p. 8).
This validates the earlier ranking by the Department of Library and Information Science, Central University of Tamil Nadu “A Scientometric Overview of Emerging Trends in Blockchain Technology”, which ranked Kshetri the world’s second most cited and sixth most published author in blockchain research (in general compared to the logistics and supply chain management focus of the first study above) based on an analysis of papers published during 2015-2019 in journals indexed by Web of Science citation database.
