Please see information below before submitting your change.

GPA Restriction

Current Students from outside of the Bryan School who wish to process a change will need to have a cumulative UNCG GPA of a 2.0 or higher before they are admitted to our School. 

New Freshmen and Transfer from outside of the Bryan School who wish to process a change will not be subjected to the GPA restriction but need to have a cumulative UNCG GPA of a 2.0 or higher at the end of their first semester or you will not be permitted to take any Bryan School course from the following prefixes: ACC, BUS, ECO, ENT, FIN, HTM, ISM, MGT, MKT, SCM. 

RESTRICTED MAJOR AND MINOR COMBINATIONS 

Students cannot declare dual or multiple concentrations within the same major. If your combination is not here, then you are permitted to combine them. 

Accounting 

Accounting (ACC) major CANNOT Minor in Business or Accounting 

Business Administration 

Students cannot declare dual or multiple concentrations within the Business Administration major. 

Business Administration (BA) – Business Studies concentrations CANNOT double major in International Business, or Marketing 

Business Administration (BA) – Business Studies concentrations CANNOT minor in Business or Professional Selling.

Business Administration (BA) – Business Studies concentration CAN minor in Entrepreneurship.  Only ENT/BUS 330 and ENT/BUS 336 will qualify for duplicated credits.  

Business Administration (BA) – Business Studies concentration CAN double major in Entrepreneurship.  Only ENT/BUS 330 and ENT/BUS 336 will qualify for duplicated credits. 

Business Administration (BA) – Human Resources concentration CANNOT minor in Business 

Business Administration (BA) – Management concentration CANNOT minor in Business 

Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies 

Students cannot declare dual concentrations within the Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies major. 

Apparel Product Design (BS) – CANNOT minor in Retailing and Consumer Studies 

Retailing and Consumer Studies (BS) – CANNOT minor in Retailing and Consumer Studies 

Economics 

Catalog Term before Fall 2019 

Economics (ECO) BS major CANNOT double major in Economics BA 

Economics (ECO) BS major CANNOT minor in Economics or Business 

Economics (ECO) BA major CANNOT double major in Economics BS 

Economics (ECO) BA major CANNOT minor in Economics 

Economics BA- beginning fall 2019, can minor in Business 

Entrepreneurship 

Entrepreneurship (ENTR) major CANNOT minor in Business. 

Entrepreneurship (ENTR) major CAN double major in Business Administration-Business Studies.  Only ENT/BUS 330 and ENT/BUS 336 will qualify for duplicated credits. 

Entrepreneurship (ENTR) major CAN double major in Marketing with restrictions.  Only 6 semester hours of duplicated credits are permitted.  Only two of the following courses can count for both majors:  MKT/ENT 328, MKT/ENT 403, MKT/ENT 427, or MKT/ENT/LIS/GEO 530 

Finance 

Finance (FIN) major CANNOT minor in Business 

Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) 

Hospitality and Tourism Management majors CANNOT double major in Business Administration-Business Studies or minor in Business 

Information Systems & Supply Chain Management 

Students cannot declare dual or multiple concentrations within the Information Systems & Supply Chain Management major. 

Business Analytics concentration CANNOT minor in Business or Information Technology 

Cyber Security concentration CANNOT minor in Business or Information Technology 

Information Systems concentration CANNOT minor in Business or Information Technology 

Supply Chain Management concentration CANNOT minor in Business or Information Technology 

International Business Studies 

International Business Studies (INTB) major CANNOT double major in Business Administration-Business Studies or minor in Business 

Marketing 

Students cannot declare dual or multiple concentrations within the Marketing major. 

Marketing (MKTG) major CANNOT double major in Business Administration-Business Studies or minor in Business 

Marketing (MKTG) major with Strategic Marketing or Social Media Marketing concentrations CAN minor in Professional Selling 

Marketing (MKTG) major with Professional Selling concentration CANNOT minor in Professional Selling 

Marketing (MKTG) major CAN double major in Entrepreneurship with restrictions.  Only 6 semester hours of duplicated credits are permitted.  Only two of the following courses can count for both majors:  MKT/ENT 328, MKT/ENT 403, MKT/ENT 427, or MKT/ENT/LIS/GEO 530 

Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality 

Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality (STH), 2016 to 2020, majors CANNOT double major in Business Administration-Business Studies or minor in Business
