  • Built for AAS graduates in business-related programs
  • Designed to maximize transfer credit where possible
  • Clear roadmap from community college to bachelor’s degree

Frequently Asked Questions

Whether you’re just starting your college journey or transferring from another institution, we’re here to help you make informed decisions. Below are answers to some of the most common questions prospective students ask.

Yes! You can transfer credits from other institutions. As part of your application, you’ll submit transcripts for evaluation. You may transfer up to 64 credits from a North Carolina community college, and there’s no limit on credits from four-year institutions.

AAS programs are more technical, so not all credits may apply directly—but this pathway is designed to maximize what counts toward your degree.

You’ll meet with an academic advisor each semester to build a schedule that works for you. Whether you’re balancing work, family, or other responsibilities, you can take as few or as many classes as your situation allows.

Many students complete their bachelor’s in about two additional years, depending on transfer credits.

Our programs are flexible. You can study full-time or part-time, online or in person. You are welcome to take as few as one course per semester.

Our online courses are asynchronous, meaning there are no set meeting times. You can complete coursework on your own schedule, as long as you meet the deadlines set by your instructor. Some exams may require you to log in during a specific time window. All course expectations and requirement are outlined in the syllabus at the start of each semester.

If you’re an online student, you’re “always invited but never required” to come to campus. You’re welcome to attend events, get in-person tutoring, or use campus resources like counseling and the library—but it’s completely optional.
