MS In INformation Technology and Management
Required Core courses
The UNCG MSITM Program is comprised of 30 credit hours. All courses are 3 credit hours each. You can enter in the Fall, Spring, or Summer term and work toward your degree year-round by also taking courses in the summer.

- ISM-671: Organizing Data for Analytics
- ISM-672: App Design and Programming
- ISM-673: Designing Secure Computer and IoT Networks for Business
- ISM/SCM-678: Project Management for Dynamic Environments
*Upon completion of ISM-678, students can apply for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and after earning the minimum project management hours, students can also apply for the Project Management Professional (PMP).

Elective and Concentration Options
The MSITM program features six elective courses (18 credit hours) for you to focus on your area of interest. Nine credit hours from a specific area are required to declare a particular concentration. Certificates can be completed in twelve credit hours.

The business analytics curriculum is co-sponsored by SAS. Students benefit from access to SAS products and materials through Teradata University Network.

Cyber Security

Our cyber security and networking coursework is taught using CompTIA materials and are aligned with CompTIA certifications
Generative AI For Business (New)

Supply Chain Analytics (New)
- ISM 635: Principles of Enterprise Resource Planning using SAP

Coincide your preparation for APICS’ CPIM or CSCP examinations with your graduate coursework and receive three hours of elective credit upon your successful completion of the examinations.
