Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management

The Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management was established over 30 years ago. Over the years, our department has produced graduates specializing in information systems, supply chain management, and operations management. The programs we’ve developed are unique and are designed to fill a need in the local and global marketplaces. Graduates from our undergraduate and graduate programs have joined Fortune 500 companies. In addition, dozens of graduates from our PhD program now occupy significant positions in academia.

Our mission is to provide high-quality programs in information systems and supply chain management. We achieve this through the integration of quality education with relevant research and professional service for industry and academe. This endeavor produces principled leaders and exceptional problem solvers with an innovative mindset and a commitment to improve and sustain organizations in a global environment and the communities in which they live.

Advisory Board

A big part of being relevant in the industry is staying connected not only to the latest trends but also to the people who are making things happen. Engaging with leaders in the field allows our faculty to continually inform classroom learning and connect students to networking opportunities that make all the difference as they embark on their careers.

They say success is largely about the people you know. We believe it’s about who knows our students and how well we prepare them to succeed in their organizations.

The Information Systems and Supply Chain Management Advisory Board is an important part of our engagement with industry leaders. The board is comprised of 22 members currently, who occupy senior operating positions at a wide range of information systems and supply chain management related companies.
