NC Sales Institute Student Business Group
Learn More About our Organization
The Student Business Group is affiliated with the North Carolina Sales Institute and serves students who are interested in learning more about sales as a career, or who recognize that even in non-sales positions, one is always selling one’s ideas. Through a variety of workshops, sales challenges, and speakers, the North Carolina Sales Institute SBG molds aspiring students into sales leaders.
Our Mission:
To create sales understanding; promote sales education; and develop 21st-century sales leaders through research, education, and partnerships.
Our Goals:
▪ To foster and promote opportunities in the fields of Sales and Marketing to business and non-business majors at UNCG.
▪ To connect students to recruiters from major corporations as ready-now candidates for Sales and Marketing jobs.
▪ To learn how to succeed in professional settings.
▪ To study the ins and outs of sales.

Club meetings consist of topics such as a 60-second elevator pitch, speed interviews, LinkedIn, and sales-related games where members can win prizes.
In collaboration with other business groups, we host an annual MEHT Gala, an event held in the Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and Tourism Department to discuss our organization’s accomplishments and to host guest speakers.
Scholarship opportunities are offered to club members during the Spring semester.
