UNCG has been home to the Iota Chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon – International Honor Society for Economics since 1973. To become a member, students must fulfill the eligibility requirements set out below and must apply for membership status. A life-membership fee is paid by each prospective member of Omicron Delta Epsilon upon election to the Society. In return, the member receives a membership card, scroll and a year’s subscription (two issues) to The American Economist.
To apply for membership, print and complete this form (PDF format) and return it to the Department of Economics main office.
Members will receive honors cords, a membership card, scroll and a year’s subscription (two issues) to The American Economist. An induction ceremony will be held near the end of each term to welcome new members.
