Welcome
The Department of Accounting and Finance at UNCG encompasses two closely related disciplines by offering courses of study in Accounting, through our BS and MS in Accounting programs, and in our undergraduate degree program in Finance. Through the combination of both programs within one department, the curriculum has been designed to provide an efficient means for obtaining a dual major in both disciplines. Our minor in Accounting serves as a great complement to students of any major with career aspirations in the business world. The Master of Science program in Accounting is available to those with a variety of academic backgrounds and also serves as an excellent course of study for those interested in obtaining their CPA license. An accelerated MSA degree option is offered for qualified applicants. Information for each of these programs is available in the links below.
Accounting is the only business discipline for which supplemental accreditation is given and we are among the top 1% of programs worldwide with accounting and business accreditation from the AACSB. Our department strives for continuous improvement expected from programs which have achieved both business and accounting AACSB accreditation.
